Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Lyratech (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the Choreless mobile application and related services (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

Choreless is a shared household task and shopping manager for couples and families. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use the App. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Shared households

The App is designed to share content between members of a household. Content you create (tasks, shopping items, completions, reactions) is visible to the other members of your household. Only invite people you intend to share this information with.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes others' rights; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems; or use the App to harass or harm another person.

5. Subscriptions & payments

The App is free to start and may offer optional auto-renewing subscriptions for premium features. Purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Prices and terms are shown in the App at the point of purchase. Except where required by law or by Apple's policies, payments are non-refundable.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the App to you and your household. You are responsible for the content you add and for having the right to share it.

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, software, and “Choreless” name and logo, is owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App under these Terms. You may not copy, resell, or create derivative works from the App.

8. Third-party services

The App relies on third-party providers (for example Apple, Supabase, OneSignal, PostHog, and RevenueCat) to function. Your use of the App may also be subject to their terms. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders will always be delivered. The App is a helper for household organization, not a substitute for your own judgment.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Effective date” above and, for material changes, provide notice in the App. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
